Lilac's Poem: There are no more words

there are no more words
i have left to say
no more memories
i have left to play


im letting go
the final straw
the hole in life
was all i saw


im not the same
and nor are you
its time to see
this much is true


this time i'll go
must leave by noon
i hate goodbyes
so i'll see you soon


this time its you
who'll be left with tears
and all the pain
and all the fears


I've got my heart
I've got my friends
and they're the ones
i'll stay until this ends


im not giving up
im not standing down
i cant stand here again
im turning around


i wont wait anymore
im not listnening to the lies
id prefer to fly away
and embrace the open skies


please hush now love
you know i hate your tears
forget me like you said you would
and all those care free years


i know it's hard
i've been there too
but all of this is
because of you


one last thing
before i go
i've told you once
just so you know


i've moved on
this much is true
but still i'll say
that i love you


despite the hell
you put me through
i hope admitting it
wont make it hard for you


and it seems
that its you i hate
but i think part
of this is fate


now the mask
is put back on
its time for me
to move along
