Have any of you eaten a bowl of cornflakes and there in the center of the bowl is this really really torched looking cornflake? I don't know why but that kinda grosses me out....(holds out bowl) anyone want my cereal??...*cricket chirp*...yeah...me neither.
I'll just eat a banana...it's a really really barely ripe one. It looks like it just got out of it's green phase. Yum. I don't like the freckled ones. They are too mushy and I've had bad experiences with them in the past. And I don't care what people say: they do not taste sweeter. At least not in a good way. In a kind of sickly moldy way.
I would be eating pancakes...the ones that Radar usually has, but Radar isn't here and I don't like using a stove by myself...or anything that has to do with fire. Not to mention, I highly doubt that I could make them right now anyway. (Although the ones that I make are pretty darn good.)
And I don't really like eggs. I will eat them, but that doesn't mean I completely like them. I only ordered eggs in a restaurant once when it didn't come as a side. And that was two weekends ago at a Bob Evans. I had the Homestead Breakfast. Holy Mother in Heaven it was good. It had hash browns and sunny-side up eggs (which those two are really good together by the way), sausage patties, biscuits, sausage gravy and apple juice...and orange juice...and I also ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream on top. That was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had...probably the most I have ever eaten in the morning.
The one place though that is the best for food is The King's Arms Tavern in Williamsburg, Va. They might not serve breakfast but they do serve lunch and dinner. Although I would recommend going there for dinner and getting the Colonial Game Pie...and the cider! Oh and uh make sure that if you want to get in make reservations ahead of time. It's really not that expensive considering it is a historical restaurant it's just really good. Just be careful if you eat a lot down there. If you are not used to the extremely rich and savory taste of the hand cooked food of the southerners/colonial people (or if you are but you haven't eaten it in a while) Go easy on the food. Otherwise, you will be in a public bathroom puking your brains out because the "foods too heavy" (ask Crab what that means). And if you do happen to be stuck in a public bathroom puking and feeling on the brink of death, there is a hidden bathroom that barely anyone can see. IF you happen across the bathroom, thank the lord because you will most likely have it to yourself.
*sigh* I love Williamsburg....I really have no idea why...I just do. I bought this pewter key there and I put it on my key chain and one day I um...I kinda threw my keys and they hit a wall and the key broke...it was the key to prosperity. I guess that means I'm not living that long now am I. lol. Just kidding. I still have the pieces although Gemini told me to throw it away and get another one the next time I fly down there, but I can't because I barely ever have time to go there anymore...besides...I love that key. I also get the "handmade" Colonial Williamsburg Doll collection dolls. There's William, Betsy, Sarah, Eve (those are the original ones that I remember) and the newer ones: Margaret,Peyton and...I swear there was a third one. (There are also the Big ones and the Mini ones) I have the big ones of all of them except Peyton and *the one name i can't remember* and the little ones in all of them except the same two. I guess that means I have to go back again (maybe twice or more) to complete my collection. (YES I am aware you can order these but I like to pick them out when I am actually IN the colonial park...under the little tents with the hats and baskets and such...not to mention it gives me a semi-excuse to go back)...getting carried away here.
I guess this is getting pretty long and I should probably shut up now. I think I am going to go play my SIMS...curse Radar for getting me addicted to it. But hey, If I can't do something...I can just virtually live through my SIMS. I get bored after a while but HEY. I haven't played in a little while...so I should be pretty occupied for a bit.
I should be working on my project which I need to present tomorrow morning at 8:55 at a school I am not supposed to see until next week because we are on BREAK...but oh well. I'll deal with it.
Gotta Run (well actually no...I am not going anywhere. Just away from the blog)
Toodles.
